General Caveat

I believe, truly, that every member running is doing so with good intentions, because they believe they have something to offer, and wish to – and think they can – make a difference. That doesn’t mean I think everyone running is equally suited or prepared for these jobs. Personally – coming from a science and engineering background – I believe that the best, most efficient solutions are crafted when there’s a great deal of varied informational energy in the room, but all involved can agree on a problem definition and can speak to each other in the same framework. We’ve got an incredibly varied national theatrical ecosystem, and I don’t find one-size-fits-all ideology and political soundbites as effective as thoughtful, sustainable, ecosystem-appropriate problem solving.

Also, who knows? I could be wrong. These are my opinions, based on what I know of the candidates, what I think I know of the candidates, and what I think is required in the position they’re running for.
